Remotely Switched Classroom

The Remotely Switched Classroom (RSC) allows online teaching to feel more like in-person teaching again. As a professor, you’ll have access to all the standard classroom technology, including the chalkboard.

The RSC allows you to stream your class live via Canvas. Your students will be able to interact with you, your TAs, and other students via specialized TOWER tools.

You can also use the RSC to pre-record high-quality instructional videos for asynchronous delivery. You can deploy these videos in a way that best matches your teaching model.

Please watch this introductory video to better understand how you can use the RSC.

This technology is available for courses included in the Registrar’s list of largest enrollment courses. LAITS has reached out to instructors included on the Registrar’s list.
